# Introduction
What Gloriads is, who it is for, and where to start.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/introduction
Gloriads is an Amazon Ads automation platform that creates, monitors and optimizes Sponsored Products campaigns for sellers, brands, authors and agencies, by rules you control.
## Where to start
- **New here?** Follow the [quick start](/docs/quick-start): create your
account and take the first step in a few minutes.
- **Choosing a plan?** Read [plans and pricing](/docs/account/plans).
- **Connecting your own tools?** Start with the [API](/docs/api/get-started).
## Getting help
The [troubleshooting](/docs/help/troubleshooting) page covers the common
questions. For anything else, use the [contact form](/contact) — a person
reads every message.
---
# Plans and pricing
The plans, what each one includes, the free trial, annual billing and cancelling.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/account/plans
## The plans
The current plans and their prices are on the [pricing page](/pricing). Every
plan starts with the same free trial of the full product.
## Choosing your plan
In **Settings → Billing**, under **Choose your plan** — during your trial, or
when you subscribe after it.
## Moving up or down
- **Moving up** applies at once, and you pay only the difference for the rest
of the current period.
- **Moving down** happens at your next renewal; nothing is refunded for the
current period.
## Annual billing
Paying yearly costs less than twelve monthly payments — the pricing page shows
the exact saving. On an annual plan, a move down happens at the yearly renewal.
## Free trial
**Full access, no credit card.** When it ends, you choose a plan and add a
payment method. Nothing is deleted if you do not: your account simply pauses
until you subscribe.
## Cancelling
Anytime, from **Settings → Billing**. You keep access until the end of the
period you have paid for.
---
# Get started with the API
Create an API key, make your first call and read the answer. The Gloriads API lets a spreadsheet, a script or an automation read your account.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/api/get-started
The Gloriads API lets your own tools — a spreadsheet, a script, an automation —
read your account.
It is **read-only**. A key reads your account and changes nothing. The API is
included in every plan and during the free trial.
To ask an AI assistant about your account, you need no key: see
[Connect an AI assistant](/docs/api/connect-an-ai-assistant).
## 1. Create a key
**Settings → API → Create a key.** Name it after the tool that will use it,
then copy the key. It starts with `key_live_` and is shown **only once**.
How many keys you can hold and how to revoke one:
[Authentication and API keys](/docs/api/authentication).
## 2. Make your first call
Every request goes to `https://gloriads.com/api/v1` and carries your key in
the `Authorization` header:
```bash
curl https://gloriads.com/api/v1/account \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
```
`/account` proves the key works and describes the account it belongs to:
```json
{
"is_demo": false,
"subscription": { "status": "active" },
"api_key": {
"name": "My script",
"start": "key_live_ab12",
"scopes": ["read"],
"created_at": "2026-09-15T07:55:00.000Z",
"last_used_at": null
},
"connected_app": null
}
```
## 3. Explore every endpoint
The [API reference](/api-reference) lists every endpoint, parameter and
response, with a **Try it** button.
## Limits
60 requests per minute and 10,000 per day per account. Past either, the API
answers `429` with a `Retry-After` header: see [Errors](/docs/api/errors).
---
# Quick start
Create your account, start your free trial and take the first step in a few minutes.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/quick-start
## 1. Create your account
Sign up with your email. You get a **free trial of the full product**, with no
credit card.
You receive a 6-digit code by email: type it in to confirm your address.
## 2. Open your dashboard
After confirming your email you land on your dashboard — the page you see
every time you sign in.
## 3. Take the first step
Everything else follows from it. If something is unclear, the
[troubleshooting](/docs/help/troubleshooting) page has the common answers.
## When the trial ends
Choose a plan in **Settings → Billing** to keep going. With no card on file
nothing is charged: your account simply pauses until you subscribe, and
nothing you set up is deleted. See [billing and trial](/docs/account/billing).
---
# Billing and trial
How the free trial works, how to change your plan, where your invoices are and how to cancel.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/account/billing
Everything lives in **Settings → Billing**, split into **Overview** and **Payment**.
## The free trial
Your trial starts automatically when you create your account: **full access, no
credit card**.
Nothing is charged during the trial, and nothing is charged when it ends — the
account simply pauses until you subscribe.
## Adding a payment method
During the trial, **Add payment method** on **Settings → Billing**. After it,
**Manage billing** is where you update your card. Payments are handled by
Stripe; card details never touch our servers.
## Your invoices
**Settings → Billing → Payment** lists every invoice. **Manage billing** opens the
Stripe customer portal, where you can download them, update your card, or change
your billing address and VAT number.
## Changing your plan
Under **Choose your plan**, on **Settings → Billing → Overview**:
| Button | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| **Choose** | During the trial: sets the plan you pay for when it ends. Nothing is charged. |
| **Upgrade** | At once. You pay the difference for the rest of the current period. |
| **Switch at renewal** | At your next renewal. Nothing is refunded. |
| **Keep** | Cancels a switch you had scheduled. |
## Switching to annual
Pick **Monthly** or **Annual** above the plans before you choose one, during the
trial or when you subscribe. Once you pay, the billing period stays as it is —
[contact us](/contact) to switch it.
## Cancelling
**Settings → Billing → Manage billing**, then cancel in the page that opens. You
keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is
deleted when it lapses — your data is still there if you come back.
## Deleting your account
That is a different action, on **Settings → Account**. It is permanent: your
account and everything in it are erased.
---
# Authentication and API keys
How to send your API key, how many keys you can hold, what a key can and cannot do, what to do when one leaks, and how to disconnect an AI assistant.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/api/authentication
## Send the key in the Authorization header
```bash
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY
```
That header is the only place the API reads a key.
- **Never put a key in a URL** (`?api_key=…`). URLs end up in logs, in browser
history and in shared links. The API refuses such a request with
`400 api_key_in_query`. Treat that key as exposed: revoke it and create a new
one.
- **Call `https://gloriads.com/api/v1`** exactly: a client following a redirect
to another address drops your key on the way.
- **Call the API from a spreadsheet, a script or a server**, not from the code of
a web page: anyone visiting the page could read the key.
## What a key can do
- Read your account, on every endpoint.
- Change nothing. The API is read-only.
- Share the limits of your account: all your keys and connected AI assistants count
together, so a second key does not give you more requests. See [Limits and errors](/docs/api/errors).
## Create a key
**Settings → API → Create a key.**
- The name can be up to 40 characters. Use the tool's name, so you know which key
to revoke later.
- The key is shown **once**. We keep only a fingerprint of it, so nobody can show
it again — not even us. Store it in a password manager or in your tool's secret
settings.
- You can hold **10 keys** at a time.
- The public demo account cannot create keys.
## The key list
Each key shows its name, its first characters (`key_live_ab12…`), when it was
created and when it was last used.
"Last used" is updated at most once an hour, so a key used a few minutes ago can
still show an earlier time.
## Revoke a key
Open the **⋯** menu of the key, then **Revoke**.
It takes effect immediately: the next request with that key gets
`401 unauthorized`, the same answer as a key that never existed. A revoked key
cannot be restored — create a new one.
## AI assistants connected without a key
claude.ai and ChatGPT use no key: you sign in to Gloriads from the assistant and
click **Allow**. The assistant then gets its own access, which can only read. How to
connect one: [Connect an AI assistant](/docs/api/connect-an-ai-assistant).
- **Settings → API → Connected apps** lists each assistant, the address that asked
for access, when you connected it and when it last read your account (updated at
most once an hour).
- **Unverified** next to a name means the app registered itself without proving its
address. Keep it only if you connected it yourself.
- **To stop one**, open its **⋯** menu, then **Disconnect**. It takes effect
immediately. To use it again, connect it again from the assistant.
## When a request is refused
| Answer | Why | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `401 unauthorized` | No `Authorization` header, or a key that is wrong or revoked | Check the header and the key |
| `403 subscription_inactive` | Your subscription has ended | Subscribe in **Settings → Billing** |
| `400 api_key_in_query` | The key was in the URL | Move it to the header, then revoke it |
Every other code is described in [Limits and errors](/docs/api/errors).
## The public demo key
The [API reference](https://gloriads.com/api-reference) pre-fills its
**Try it** button with a public key. It reads only the demo account, and it is limited to 10 requests per minute, shared by
every visitor. It cannot read your account: use your own key for that.
---
# Troubleshooting
The common questions — the sign-in code, the trial, billing — and the fix for each.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/help/troubleshooting
## The sign-in code never arrives
1. Check your spam or promotions folder.
2. Wait a minute: some mail providers hold a message briefly.
3. Ask for a new code — only the most recent one works.
## "Your subscription has ended"
Your free trial is over and no plan was chosen. Nothing is deleted: open
**Settings → Billing**, choose a plan, and everything comes back where you left
it.
## A payment failed
Update your card in **Settings → Billing → Manage billing**. Stripe retries the
payment on its own once the card is valid.
## Still stuck?
Use the [contact form](/contact) — a person reads every message.
---
# Settings
A map of every settings tab and what each one holds.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/account/settings
Settings is one page with tabs across the top.
## Preferences
How the app displays things:
- **Number format** — how thousands and decimals are separated.
- **Calendar start day** — the first day of the week in date pickers.
- **Language** — or follow your browser's.
## Billing
Plan, payment method and invoices. See [Billing and trial](/docs/account/billing).
## Security
Your sign-in email and your password.
## Notifications
Which emails we send you. Messages about your account itself — sign-in codes,
billing — always arrive, whatever you choose here.
## API
Your API keys, and the AI assistants you have connected. See
[Get started with the API](/docs/api/get-started).
## Account
Delete your account. Deletion is permanent: it erases your account and
everything in it.
---
# Limits and errors
The API's request limits and rate-limit headers, what every error code means, and how values and pages work.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/api/errors
## Request limits
| Limit | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Per minute | 60 requests |
| Per day | 10,000 requests |
Both count for the **whole account**: all your keys and connected AI assistants
together.
- The minute limit refills continuously: one request comes back every second, up
to 60.
- The daily limit is a 24-hour window, not a calendar day. The
`X-RateLimit-Reset-Day` header says when it ends.
## Rate-limit headers
Every answer to a request with a valid key carries:
| Header | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `X-RateLimit-Limit` | Requests allowed per minute (60) |
| `X-RateLimit-Remaining` | Requests left right now |
| `X-RateLimit-Reset` | Seconds until the minute limit is full again |
| `X-RateLimit-Limit-Day` | Requests allowed per day (10,000) |
| `X-RateLimit-Remaining-Day` | Requests left today |
| `X-RateLimit-Reset-Day` | Seconds until the daily window ends |
When a limit is reached, the answer is `429 rate_limited` with a `Retry-After`
header: wait that many seconds, then send the request again.
Every answer, error or not, also carries `X-Request-Id`.
## The shape of an error
Errors follow the standard "problem details" format (`application/problem+json`):
```json
{
"type": "https://gloriads.com/docs/api/errors#invalid_request",
"title": "Invalid request",
"status": 400,
"code": "invalid_request",
"detail": "limit must be between 1 and 100.",
"issues": [
{
"path": "limit",
"code": "invalid_value",
"message": "limit must be between 1 and 100."
}
],
"request_id": "req_8fK2mQ7xLp3nR9sT1vWy"
}
```
- **Test `code` in your script.** It never changes; `detail` is written for
people and may be reworded.
- `issues` lists each invalid parameter. It only appears on `invalid_request`.
- **Quote `request_id` when you contact support.**
## Error codes
**`invalid_request`** · 400 — A parameter is not valid: an unknown value, a
number out of range, a page cursor that is not ours.
`issues` says which parameter and why.
**`api_key_in_query`** · 400 — The key was sent in the URL. Send it in the
`Authorization` header, and revoke that key: it may already be in a log.
**`unauthorized`** · 401 — No key, or a key that is wrong or revoked. The answer
does not say which, on purpose.
**`subscription_inactive`** · 403 — The account's subscription has ended. The API
works again as soon as the subscription is active.
**`insufficient_scope`** · 403 — The key is not allowed to read. Every key created
today can read, so you should never see this code.
**`not_found`** · 404 — There is no endpoint at this path, or the thing you asked
for does not exist in your account. Something that belongs to another account
gets the same answer.
**`method_not_allowed`** · 405 — The API only answers `GET`, because it is
read-only. The `Allow` header lists what it accepts.
**`rate_limited`** · 429 — A limit is reached. Wait the number of seconds in
`Retry-After`.
**`internal_error`** · 500 — Something failed on our side. Try again later; if it
keeps happening, send us the `request_id`.
**`timeout`** · 504 — The answer took longer than 30 seconds. Ask for less at a
time.
## Values and pages
- **`null` means "does not exist"**, never zero.
- **Long lists come in pages.** `limit` sets the page size, from 1 to 100 (50 by
default). When `has_more` is `true`, send `next_cursor` back as `cursor` to get
the next page.

# Privacy and security
What Gloriads stores about you, what it never sees, and what happens to your data if you leave.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/help/privacy
## What we store
- Your **account**: name, email address and preferences.
- Your **subscription**: plan and billing status. Payments themselves are
handled by Stripe.
- What you **create in the app**.
## What we never see
- **Your password in clear.** If you set one, only a one-way hash of it is
stored.
- **Your card details.** Payments are handled by Stripe; card numbers never
touch our servers.
## How it is protected
Every connection is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your data is never sold.
## If you leave
Deleting your account in **Settings → Account** erases your account and
everything in it, permanently. The full details are in the
[privacy policy](/privacy).

# Connect an AI assistant
Ask claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or Claude Desktop about your Gloriads account, through the read-only MCP connector.
URL: https://gloriads.com/docs/api/connect-an-ai-assistant
Connect an AI assistant to Gloriads and ask it about your account in plain words.
The assistant sees exactly what the [Gloriads API](/docs/api/get-started) sees, and
changes nothing in your account.
## What the assistant can see
- **Everything the API sees, and nothing else.**
- **Nothing it can change**: no setting, no billing.
- **Your data does leave Gloriads.** Only connect an assistant you trust: once it
has read your account, disconnecting it (**Settings → API → Connected apps**)
stops any further reading, but it cannot take back what it already read.
## The address, and what each assistant needs
One address, the same for every assistant:
```
https://gloriads.com/api/mcp
```
| Assistant | What it needs |
| --- | --- |
| claude.ai, Claude Desktop | You sign in and click **Allow**. No key to copy. |
| ChatGPT | The same sign-in, but in developer mode, on a paid plan. |
| Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code | One of your API keys, from **Settings → API**. |
Any other tool that supports custom MCP servers can use the same address.
Everything is on one page in the app — **Settings → API**: the address, the
ready-made commands, and your keys. Each block has a **Copy** button.
##
claude.ai
1. In claude.ai, open **Customize** in the left menu.
2. Open the **Connectors** tab.
3. Click **Add**, then **Add custom connector**.
4. Name it `Gloriads`, paste `https://gloriads.com/api/mcp`, then
click **Continue**.
5. Change nothing on the next page: claude.ai has detected that Gloriads signs
you in and publishes its own identity. Click **Add**.
6. Click **Connect**.
7. Sign in to Gloriads if you are asked to.
8. Check the app that is asking, then click **Allow**.
9. You are sent back to claude.ai. On the connector page, under **Tool permissions**,
choose **Always allow**: Claude then reads your figures without asking every time,
and this connector can do nothing else.
In a conversation, turn the connector on if the app asks you to, then ask your
question.
**Ask Haiku.** It is the fastest and the least expensive Claude model, and reading
your figures asks nothing more of it. Pick it in the model menu of your conversation.
A free Claude account can add one custom connector.
**To disconnect it**, open **Settings → API → Connected apps** in Gloriads and
choose **Disconnect**. It stops reading your figures immediately.
##
Claude Desktop
Claude Desktop uses the same connectors as claude.ai, so there is nothing else to
install: add the connector from either one, sign in, and click **Allow**. It then
works in both.
##
ChatGPT
ChatGPT does not connect like Claude: its custom servers live behind **developer
mode**, which is only offered on ChatGPT's paid plans. Here is the whole path.
1. In ChatGPT's settings, turn on **developer mode**.
2. Open **Plugins**, then **New plugin**.
3. **Name**: type `Gloriads`. The icon and the description are optional.
4. **Connection**: keep **Server URL** and paste
`https://gloriads.com/api/mcp`.
5. **Authentication**: choose **OAuth**. There is nothing to fill in below it —
Gloriads publishes its settings at that address, and ChatGPT reads them.
6. Tick **I understand and want to continue** — ChatGPT shows that warning for every
custom server, ours included — then click **Create**.
7. ChatGPT opens Gloriads: sign in if you are asked to, check that the app
requesting access is ChatGPT, then click **Allow**.
8. In a conversation, switch the plugin on before asking your first question.
9. Choose how much ChatGPT may do on its own, in **Settings → Plugins →
Gloriads → Permissions**. **Allow read actions** is enough: this connector
can only read. **Allow all actions** is marked elevated risk and buys you nothing
here.
**To disconnect it**, open **Settings → API → Connected apps** in Gloriads and
choose **Disconnect**, exactly as for claude.ai.
##
Claude Code
Create a key in **Settings → API → Create a key**, name it "Claude Code", and copy
it. It is shown only once.
Then run this in a terminal, with your key in place of `YOUR_API_KEY`:
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http gloriads https://gloriads.com/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
```
- Check it with `claude mcp list`, or `/mcp` inside Claude Code.
- The server is added to the current project. Add `--scope user` to use it
everywhere.
- To remove it: `claude mcp remove gloriads`.
##
Cursor
Put your key in the `ACME_API_KEY` environment variable, then paste this
into `~/.cursor/mcp.json` (all your projects) or `.cursor/mcp.json` (one project):
```json
{
"mcpServers": {
"gloriads": {
"url": "https://gloriads.com/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer ${env:ACME_API_KEY}"
}
}
}
}
```
Cursor reads the key from that variable, so the file never contains it. Set the
variable before you open Cursor.
##
VS Code
Open **MCP: Open User Configuration** from the Command Palette (all your projects),
or create `.vscode/mcp.json` in a project, and add:
```json
{
"inputs": [
{
"type": "promptString",
"id": "gloriads-api-key",
"description": "Gloriads API key",
"password": true
}
],
"servers": {
"gloriads": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://gloriads.com/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer ${input:gloriads-api-key}"
}
}
}
}
```
VS Code asks for the key the first time the server starts and remembers it, so the
file never contains it.
## What you can ask
The assistant picks the right tool for your question. Each tool reads one part of
the API.
| Tool | Reads | Example question |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `get_account` | Your account: subscription, the key or app in use | "Is my subscription active?" |
## Good to know
- **The same figures as the app.** Each answer says which period and currency it
used, and says so when a figure is incomplete.
- **A key reads your whole account.** Keep it out of shared files, and revoke it in
**Settings → API** the day you stop using the assistant.
- **Shared limits with the API**: 60 requests per minute and 10,000 per day for your
account. One question can cost several requests. See
[Limits and errors](/docs/api/errors).
- **Try it without an account** in a developer tool: the public demo key on the
[API reference](https://gloriads.com/api-reference) works here too, and reads
the demo account's synthetic figures.

Running Amazon Ads well is a daily job: bids to adjust, search terms to harvest,
keywords to cut, budgets to watch. Most advertisers do not have that time, so money
leaks on clicks that never sell.
Gloriads is built to do that work for you, by the rules you set.
## What guides the product
- **You stay in control.** Every automatic change follows rules you can read, edit
and switch off.
- **Every change is explained.** The action log says what changed and why, and one
click reverts it.
- **We work for your profit, not your spend.** You choose the goal: profit on your
real margins, a target ACOS, TACOS or a launch.
## What you will find on this blog
- **Guides** on Sponsored Products: structure, bidding, search terms and negatives.
- **Product news**: what changed in Gloriads, and why.
- **Behind the scenes**: the decisions we make and what they taught us.
New to Gloriads? The [quick start](/docs/quick-start) takes a few minutes, and the
free trial needs no credit card.
